Crap. According to the NY Times, SunRocket has gone belly up. People on SlashDot claim their phone is still working, but voice mail is offline. I have the $10/month plan which does not include voice mail so I am not so worried. There is nothing on the SR site claiming this is true, but I saw some comments from CSR’s that they were let go.

Alternatives? Back to a land line from AT&T for $25/mo. Vonage has a $15/mo plan. Neither one of those sounds that intriguing. Maybe Vonage (or some other VoIP provider) will pick up my plan. I am probably one of the cheapest customers they have using maybe 10 or 15 minutes of phone time a month.

I have heard some showed up over the weekend, but I have not checked my mail since last week. I guess I will have to do that today.

Mr. Lee is a cat. His owner built a CatCam that he wears as he wanders the neighborhood.

Personally, I never watched the show so I don’t have an opinion either way- but I think this level of fan support for a canceled show is great.

Look at this picture:

There are two major parts there, a EMT screw on connector and a EMT screw plate. I know where to get the first one- but the piece that is actually screwed into the wood here is beyond my reach. My google-fu has failed me and my trip to Home Depot last night failed to turn up anything similar to that plate. Does anyone know what the technical name for it is? And even better, where to acquire them? I have not decided which size yet- either 1″, 1 1/2″, or 2″. I am going to be building a desk (or two) based on the ideas found here. The leg solution is a very good one that I want to use.

Very little poker news, I did flop DQB in an Sit-n-Go on Sunday. It was the 2nd to last hand, the next hand I got nines and sealed a victory. That is a pretty nice way to end a SnG.
